I invite you to enter a query for your Slaven/Slavey ancestorsor cousins. Since all queries must be manually posted by me, I ask that you PLEASE adhere to the following guidelines:

Put the date, your name and e-mail address on the first line.
Enter your query information exactly as you want it to appear.
Fully capitalize all SURNAMES (last names) in the message. Do not fully capitalize any other items, i.e., first or middle name. See below for examples.
Put all dates in the format: Day Month Year. For example, 23 May 1966.
Use "Slaven/Slavey Query" (no quotes) as the Subject of the message. Other Subject lines may be ignored.

I am looking for information on the parents of Pleasant SLAVEY/SLAVEN (b. 1823/1824 in TN, d. 8 Mar 1862 in Nashville, TN). He married Susannah HILL in Fentress Co., TN on 6 Mar 1846.

Pleasant was born 1823/1824 in Tennessee. He died 8 Mar 1862 in Nashville, Tennessee.

During the Civil War, Pleasant served in Company I, 12th KY Infantry.

Looking for any information on Charles SLAVEN/SLAVINS born in Ohio about 1820 to 1830. He married Sarah Jane JORDAN after divorcing his first wife, Julia HARRIS. His divorce took place in 1864 and he married my great-great-grandmother after that. He divorced and remarried in Carroll County, MS. He died there and is buried in the same place. He was in the Confederate Army. It may be that he had a brother named Daniel. Please send any information ASAP.
